Good stuff Bonni. I believe that balance is crucial for a healthy existence at many levels. I learned to make the connection of mind, body, and spirit from a theological and psychological standpoint. Never seemed to make the connection through meditation and yoga. I am, however, a firm believer in exercise and can plainly see the 50 reasons listed to a better quality of life. I especially agree with #48. Just kidding. Kinda. They are all good reasons.
I’m going to look into the chakra thing. 7 is an important number. lol
Thanks,
Lar

Larry…I feel that however we get the mind, body and spirit connected, and feel balance (which I always struggle with) is a good way. I have always found the gym to be my temple and though religion/theology have never been for me, I like to think that I am very spiritual. Exercise is what saved me from myself when I was in my young 20s and I really stumbled upon it what seemed “accidentally” but I know that nothing is….Meditation is something I have dabbled with through the years, and am NEVER consistent with but much more so over the past year or so than ever and it definitely helps quiet all the “chatter.” When all else fails, I ask myself questions like “who am I and what makes me happy?” It helps reduce things to the simplest form. Thanks for stopping in! Hope things are ok with you.
