Happy Saturday one and all. Carol and I saw Forks Over Knives yesterday and we both really enjoyed it. I want everyone in the world to see the movie, not because I want everyone in the world to eat the way I do, but because I want everyone in the world to be healthy! I want you to help yourself learn how to avoid the big, lifestyle diseases like cancer, diabetes and heart disease. While The China Study might have been a lot to digest in print, the movie is not. The incredible science and clinical finding are quite simple (and found time and time again). Animal protein turns cancer cells on while plant protein not only doesn’t but the plant-based diet is shown to actually reverse heart disease. These (hundreds and hundreds of) studies aren’t trendy or out of left field. These consistent findings are based on the most comprehensive nutritional studies done to date. While I could go on and on about this, I wont, but I urge you (for YOU and for YOUR LOVED ONES) to go see this documentary. I am not going to say you will walk away saying “wow that was an awesome movie” but 94 minutes out of your life just might save your life. If you are or currently on a statin drug, medication for diabetes or blood pressure, or almost anything, stop complaining about the cost of drugs, understand that they are only controlling the symptoms and go see this movie!! If you are struggling with your weight, if you still believe you need animal protein to be strong, if you think only long-haired hippie men eat plants, you need to see this movie. Nuff said. Peace…or should I say peas! Thanks for listening 🙂

I absolutely LOVED the way this movie was NOT preachy, NOT about animal cruelty, NOT about vegans. This movie is about being as healthy as you can be, about getting and staying as healthy as you can. I am just astounded by the amount of scientific information that supports a plant based diet, but how few people know about it.
Thanks Bonni for caring about everyone so much that you want us to live a life free of cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
I’ll be your date anytime. 😉
