There are many factors that I can think of that countibrte to some of the contestants losing the weight so quickly.-The more of you there is, the more calories you burn the higher you basic metablic weight is. So when they put them on strict diet (limiting fat and such), they will lose the weight quickly.-They work out daily at lengths longer than the average person. With this the motivation of their trainers, they are able to burn more calories on top of their caloric defict just from they diet-They have a strong support group to keep them from cheating.-They are in an controlled environment, so they don’t have the tempations to have a cheat meal skip working outWhat you will normally notice is that men lose more weight quicker, this is because their basic metabolic rate is higher than womens they have more muscle to burn calories than an out of shape women. But as both sexes lose weight, their basic meatbolic rate will decrease their wieght loss will start to slow down.You can replicate these results, but you need to be:-highly motivated-have a well rounded knowledge of what to eat how much of to eat when-have the time and dedication to work out (resistance training and cardio)-a good support system (can be an online community or people around you)Hope this helps explain a few things.
