“You put a baby in a crib with an apple and a rabbit. If it eats the rabbit and plays with the apple, I’ll buy you a new car.”

Yesterday Oprah showed a repeat of her staff’s one week vegan challenge. It originally aired in February. I loved this entry by Ari Solomon on Alicia Silverstone’s site, the kindlife.com
Give some thought to the following, if you care to read further. If it doesn’t open as a link you can go to to her site directly or click the link on my links page. Enter Ari Solomon in the search and let me know what you think.
Happy 4th birthday to my little boyfriend, Natey. I wish you lots of pretzels and love! Thanks to all for your kind words, comments and for sharing some peaceandfitness with others!

I watched, with great interest, the Oprah show yesterday. Although there were a few new tidbits that I learned, I can honestly say that you would have been an even BETTER spokeswoman for the topic. You are so knowledgeable about being a vegan and you “break” down all the nutritional information and health benefits in such an easy to comprehend manner. Cheers to you, Bonni!! You are doing a stellar job!

Love the quote from Dogen. My x husband, John famous words were “live from the inside out”. Were always worring about what everyone else thinks. This may be shallow but many times I had to try VERY hard to live by those words. Getting older has made it much easier because I tend not to give a hoot what people think. This action has made my world a happier place.
