Yesterday, I turned passive into active by using my down time to go out and buy some new exercise clothes and do some errands. It definitely kept me busy and NOT thinking about food. On Tuesdays, Chopra suggests we turn dull into vibrant. He says “Define vibrant any way you choose; a bright color, a spicy taste, a sparkling conversation. Today, inject the vibrancy into your routine. Wear a brighter color, eat spicier or more colorful food. Look at rainbows on YouTube or stand by a fountain in the sunlight. ” Chopra reminds us that as we do these things we should reinforce the message in our minds: “Now I’m being vibrant.”
Wherever you are in the US today, we are all experiencing way below normal cold temps. Stay safe and stay warm. Wear some vibrant mittens, scarves, socks, etc. Look at photos of vibrant sunrises and sunsets or light your fireplace and warm your body and your soul. Place a colorful flower arrangement on your table. Add spice to your foods to help raise your core temperature, crank up your metabolism and, of course, add vibrance!
