With the greatest of ease? JUKARI, a group exercise class created by Reebok and Cirque de Soleil, is a fun-filled program that has participants leaping, swinging and flying through the air like circus acrobats. Launched last February, Jukari Fit to Fly opened 21 studios in 11 cities around the world. Here in the US it is currently offered at New York City’s Equinox Fitness Clubs. Instructors and participants use a Flyset, a three-strand rope attached to the ceiling as well as a FlyBar (a 4.5 pound, neoprene coated bar, that is placed in the Flyset’s loops. Looking at the pictures in my fitness magazine, I am thinking “Pink,” when she performed at an awards show this past year. Many of the exercises look like they have a base in Pilates or remind me of work that can be done on the TRX (which I still have not tried but IS available at Fusion Fitness in Coral Springs.) I may have to call upon my family in New York City to try a class and let me know…
I hope that many of you are enjoying another day off from work. Though Tamarac Fitness Center is closed today, I am off to do an early outdoor session with a highly devoted client. I love that she IS. It forces me to get my body burning some of yesterday’s extra calories. SilverSneakers classes at Bally Coral Springs are as usual, today (11:30 AND 12:3o).
Hoping you had a wonderful 4th. Whether you are off to work or play, I hope you’ll make it a wonderful day.

Hello everyone. I’m looking for a new wardrobe to excercise in yoga. Can anyone give me some advice? I’m looking for soft and comfy clothes in 80% cotton. Thank you all!
