As this holiday filled month continues, I am going to make today’s entry short and sweet so that I can spend a few extra minutes with the birthday boy, Mitch, this morning, before I head to my morning of work. I will NOT be teaching tonight, so that we can celebrate together as we have for the past 30 birthdays.
Don’t forget, Biggest Loser is just one hour tonight and we get to see some of our past season “friends,” return. Tara, Ali and Sam will all be back and I can’t wait to see how they are looking…especially, Sam 🙂 Then the voice airs at 9, which I think will be a good show with a great cast. Anything Cee Lo is part of, I am in for. Since BL is just one hour, it makes me think there will be no elimination and that next week might be the makeover show, as I have always thought 7 contestants make it to makeover week, and there are 7 left, now.
Carol, I am glad you took advantage of the Fusion Fitness Groupon! You will love your sessions there! And yes, what a great deal. Mitch and I used another Falafel Bistro Groupon yesterday…such a deal! I think my stomach is having a hard time this morning with my quinoa salad…I have heard that from others and never noticed before but now that I am aware, I think I have a hard time with it, too, BUT I love it! Carole, thanks for making Mitch’s birthday more special, always! Fredda, I finished the book and I just stopped crying. What a beautiful ending. (The Art of Racing in the Rain) Rita and I were emailing yesterday about drying fresh herbs…anyone know the best technique?
I am off to combine some peace and fitness with some of my favorite people. Then it’s time to do some celebrating with my hubby!
**Good job by my SilverSneakers students getting out to Tamarac and registering yourselves. We are all set for our first class on Monday May 9 at 11:30. We will still be together at Bally tomorrow and Monday and Wednesday of next week. Once we move over to TFC the schedule will be Mon/Wed 11:30 with me and Friday at 11:30 with Carol. Hopefully we will have a big turnout and add more classes as needed.

Have a fantastic birthday, Mitch. Celebrate your special day with your special love!!!!
A friend of mine went into her garden yesterday and plucked handfuls of parsley, sage, thyme, sweet basil and lemon balm. She showed me how she makes lemon balm tea…just steep the leaves for a few minutes in hot water, scoop out the leaves and viola………..calming lemon balm tea. Does anyone know how to dry herbs??
