Is there a self-help group for people who sign up for too many fitness challenges? If so, please comment below!
All kidding aside, I have definitely used the world wide web to my extreme advantage these past 12 months, especially since the start of 2021. Whatever you are looking for, just type it in your search engine and GO! I did some really lovely Pilates and yoga challenges,as well as some drumming and drum fit, ballet and more… but there are sooooo many options to fit YOUR needs and desires. BE SPECIFIC…use words like FREE 30 minute cardio circuit classes or FREE senior fitness or FREE kickboxing for beginners or ???? You are, once again, only limited by your imagination and curiosity.
I am finishing off a 21 day yoga challenge that was above and beyond wonderful! Thank you to COMMUNE and Shyler Grant for an amazing course, chock full of so much info and challenging flow classes. I am doing asanas that I never even thought about trying and getting great refresher labs regarding anatomy. Her demonstrations and verbal cuing are spot on and I am so grateful for all I have learned as a student and as a teacher.
Needless to say, you can learn ANYTHING. From drawing and painting and playing the guitar to writing workshops and guided meditation, there is no end. There is NO reason to ever be bored! As the pandemic hit it’s one year mark in the US, I can honestly say, I have NOT had one day I have been bored. Frightened, frustrated, missing my kids and grand daughter as well as my friends, sure, but not bored.
We will be celebrating the clock change and the season change, with a yard yoga class next week (Thursday the 18th at 6) If you are not in my Facebook group for yoga, and would like to come, comment below, on FB, or private message me for details. Just a reminder, we change the clocks this weekend!
It’s seems like with very little effort, my garage fills up with food for Feeding America/South Florida. I don’t like to invade anyone’s privacy by naming names, but A MILLION THANKS to those of you who contribute. From community efforts to individual full out grocery shops, and donations of cash for Mitch and I to shop and the same thing happening on Sheree’s end, we will have another enormous delivery to make the week of March 22nd. When you see a truck on the road, or hear of another food distribution happening thru Feeding America/South Florida, you can feel really, really good knowing your generosity and efforts are going directly into our community and your neighbors are going to bed with full bellies. Thank you, again. And the best part is, the ripple effect I spoke about back in December, keeps rippling..all across the country. What started as a simple birthday request is now going so strong. I am truly humbled by your concern and generosity. #F.F.I.T.
It’s time for me (and probably you) to get up and move around so I will end here. Have a beautiful day. Thanks for stopping by.
