Happy Monday and welcome to March! What a great month. So many birthdays, the clock change, holidays and SPRING! Hope everyone finished off the month of February with a joyful weekend.
So often people ask me what I miss, living on a plant-based diet. Nothing. There is no sacrifice. Saturday, inspired by a chef on the morning news, Mitch and I decided on some middle eastern food for dinner. Obsessed as I am with charcuterie and again, inspired by the chef, this was my all vegan falafel platter. The pita was in the oven getting warm as Mitch snapped this shot….
It was a delicious and super fun meal but the best was this….
Marshmallows, peanut butter cups and brownies upon a cinnamon bun with chocolate frosting. If you are lucky enough to have a Cinnaholic anywhere locally, go there! The best part of this place is, who would ever think it, it’s all vegan! We shared this, but we couldn’t even finish it, as it is so decadent. For those that have never been, you pick your frosting and toppings and there are sooooo many things to chose from!
This is how vegans and non-vegans combine to find their happy place!
