Though it wasn’t the best night for team USA, and Lolo Jones didn’t win a medal, she did come in a very respectable 4th place in the finals. My takeaway, after watching hurdling, is that THAT is the sport for great abs. Not only were they apparent in their cute little Olympic outfits, but you could actually see every, single, solitary core muscle engaging with each and every jump. All I can say is WOW. I’m thinking when life gives you a hurdle, jump high and hard and just keep going. You’ll not only get past the obstacle, but come over the side looking pretty darn great!

Though they are all vegan, for those that eat cheese, you can use the real stuff instead of the Daiya cheese. I am glad to learn that some of you are looking to get away from some of the animal products and of course I was thrilled (and I am sure Derek is, too) to learn that Jolene is trying out some vegan recipes and enjoying the journey.
