So we went to Grand Lux Cafe last night and I was excited to try a different establishment’s veggie burger. Less the cheese and mayo, I think it was a vegan meal, but one can never be sure about the bread. Because the conversation was non-stop between we college friends, some who haven’t seen each other in decades, I honestly have no idea how the burger was. For sure it was OK, because I ate the whole thing. This does, however, prove the theory that when we eat without attention to our food, we may overeat, or just eat because the food is there. Neither was the case for me last night, but it is a reminder. Good luck to our friend Tom as he makes his way back to Oklahoma, and thanks for the dinner, the company and the out of the norm evening! No, we aren’t as young as we used to be, but who of us is?
Been very distracted here stalking teamreferrin at teamreferrin.com as they stalk the startup buses from Tampa, Fl to Austin, Texas and several awesome stops in between. While I can’t pretend to understand it all, I find it exciting and I am happy and proud of my webmaster, Kyle, and his team as they break ground on a very happening business trend. Good luck at the conference in Austin!
Remember March 23, 2 weeks from tonight, zen is the word class to raise money for the hungry. 6:30-7:30 at Tamarac Fitness Center. Scroll back a few days and you will find all the details and info or just ask! Thanks to those of you that have already reserved your spots and those that have given me donations just because hunger just doesn’t make sense in a society that has more than enough.
Get out there and make this a fabulous Friday. Tomorrow night we spring ahead! We aren’t really losing an hour, just giving back the one we borrowed in the fall, and shouldn’t we always give back what we borrow?
