I must admit that I was somewhat distracted while watching BL last night. By the time I got home from the gym, got changed, sat and had a glass of wine with Mitch, caught up on the day and sat down with him to eat dinner, and watch the show, it was close to 9:30. It was a nice change to see everyone working together as one team, the Blue team. If they could lose a combined total of 59 pounds, everyone would be saved this week, but that was not the case. I fast forwarded through a lot of the challenge as I thought the questions were sort of silly. Most of the show I was mentioning how much I liked Marci and how I would love to go hang out with her at her gym for a few hours. She is strong physically and emotionally. We got to see Dr. H. tell her that she is already at a healthy weight and that sort of set us up for her departure.
There was a great little food challenge, where the contestants were paired up in teams and got to design a meal or dessert. Curtis Stone made his usual appearance with Lorena Garcia as they were to judge the contest. I thought most of the teams did a great job. The winning team is Olivia and Moses, with a baked cod and asparagus dish. They won the Biggest Loser Meal Plan, which Alison says will help them reach their goals once they go home. I hope Olivia doesn’t leave any time soon!
At the weigh in, most everyone has numbers that can be expected in week 11. Marci loses no pounds, Kaylee gains 2. Marci pleads with the others to send her home. She is happy, she is ready and she is sure Courtney (which was the reason she ever came to the ranch in the first place) will be strong without her. Everyone promises to look after Courtney and all, except Courtney and Jen, vote for Marci and out goes her fridge light. (I HATE THAT PART!) Marci has maintained her weight at home, which was and is her goal since leaving the ranch.
Next week…one contestant returns. But before that we have St. Patrick’s Day and the first day of spring to celebrate. Thanks for your comments and questions. I am glad we can keep learning from each other. Have a wishful Wednesday.
