Quick update. Mitch and I got the first Pfizer yesterday morning at about 9:30. Other than slightly sore arms at the site of the injection (on a scale of 1-10 the pain was not really measurable) no side effects. Came home, took a long walk and did some yoga. The whole thing from the first phone call on Sunday to book the appointment, to the registration, shot, and 15 minute wait post vaccine, were all handled so professionally and everyone working was smiling and clearly wanted to make the experience as good as possible. This is the same message I am hearing from NY and other parts of the country, as well. We will return in 3 weeks at the same time for the second dose. Then, while we will still heed all the warnings and continue to wear our masks and do a lot of hand washing, we will begin to jump back into life, feeling a little more protected.
Tonight is yard yoga and we will be celebrating the clock change, and spring! Spring, again, is when we plant seeds. Literally. This is THE PERFECT TIME to start planting some other seeds, as well. Where will you go and what will you do when everything is opened up again? This is a great time to start making those plans. Just like crops, what will you need to make these seeds grow to fruition? It can be as big as planning a trip (when appropriate) or as small as setting up some lunch or dinner dates (which really will be BIG deals) for when the time is right. If you are coming to class, we will be ringing out winter, breathing in spring and planting some seeds, as well.
Wherever YOU are, I hope you will feel some excitement from planting some of your own seeds. We always better appreciate whatever it is we put time and effort into, especially if we go heavy on the ingredient called LOVE.
A special thank you to my local fairy godmother who must have read my mind, leaving me the gift of garden gloves and hand cream this morning. We know there are NO coincidences!!! Namaste
