This morning it’s a huge congratulations and job well done to our White Hot Miami Heat. Last night’s game 7, (which I actually stayed awake for in its entirety!) was a fabulous display of leadership and teamwork. The collective effort (it was such a treat to see all our guys playing like team) resulted in a 99-76 defeat against the Indiana Pacers and the big win in the Eastern Conference playoffs. It’s probably not so fair that we have guys like LBJ and Chris Anderson who can literally fly, but that’s the way the Bball bounces. Last night’s game was clearly the best of the series, for our team anyway, and now they can gloat and stay on a high for a few days before we welcome the San Antonio Spurs to our arena this Thursday for game 1 of the Finals.
With no game on tonight, it’s a great reason to tune in to some Extreme Weight Loss. This will be the second episode of the season and it airs at 8pm on your ABC affiliate. It’s no Biggest Loser, but it does fill the Tuesday night slot.
Of course, before doing the couch potato TV thing, it’s a great idea to get in your daily dose of fitness…and peace, of course. I’ll be at the TFC for Senior Strength training this morning and back for cardio plus at 6 and our weekly dose of ahhhhh(Pilates/yoga peacethrufitness) at 7 pm. Maybe I will see you there…or right back here. Wherever you are, make sure to find YOUR peaceandfitness. It does and body and a mind lots of good.
