I am sure it is me, and not the show, but my interest in Biggest Loser seems to have dwindled a bit. Maybe it’s because I come home after it has started…turn it on while I am getting washed up and changed…then go back to beginning and catch up on what I missed, fast forward through what I watched and finish out the show. For now, I will blame it on that and the use of my DVR. Still, I look forward to it and do watch the whole 2 hours. I didn’t love the bit about gambling on how much they would lose as a team. I don’t like to be responsible for others and how did she (I forgot her name) think her red team could lose 94 pounds week 2? Pushing the “wheel” around and around would have made me puke, for sure. That gives motion sickness all new meaning. Black team won that challenge (by a second, literally) and won 6 months worth of Biggest Loser meal plans. Black team also won the weigh in as a result of red team losing their bet on the 94 pound loss. That loss gave black team a 5 pound advantage, which put them on top at the end of the weigh in. I thought they would eliminate the girl who wagered on the big weight loss, but Mike must have really rubbed them all the wrong way, because they all voted him off, and only “grandma” seemed to feel badly.
I did enjoy seeing the nutritionist on the show and was glad she reminded to opt for a hand roll instead of a regular roll, when ordering sushi. I also liked the way she told the contestants to think of their empty shopping wagon as their empty stomachs and fill it with nutritional, healthy items. We should all think of our wagons as ours and our loved ones tummies. Maybe we would all make better choices at the grocery store.
If I had to pick someone to root for right now, it would be Chism. He is young and has his whole life ahead of him. I like his dad, too…and Emily….and Roy (aka Santa) and his wife. Well, maybe this is one show that just grows on you as the season goes on and we get to know the contestants better. I am sorry for blaming you, DVR. It’s really not your fault.
Thanks to everyone who came out to classes yesterday and last night. You all brought great energy and it’s always nice to see new faces, faces I haven’t seen in a while, and all the die-hard regulars, as well. Much love.

I don’t like the dynamic between Bob & Dolvett. It takes the focus away from the contestants. I’m also unhappy with the editing this season. I wish we could have seen some the issues with Mike that sent him home.
