Last week I was totally inspired by the transformation that took place on Extreme Weight Loss. Not as much by the weight loss as Meridith’s ability to train for and complete a marathon. Though I am totally aware she didn’t run the entire 26.2 miles, it appeared that she did run much of it, and did cross the finish line. It made me think not only about kicking up my own running, but also about fitness goals I have for myself this summer. With my clients away for the summer, and only my 9 classes a week to teach, this week kicks off my own summer schedule. Monday I hit the pool and logged 40 laps which felt great.
Yesterday, Kyle let me know that he and Nicole registered for a half marathon which takes place in February. I am both impressed and inspired. Today, I will dust off my running sneakers and get busy. I probably will spend a lot less time blogging this summer, in order to log laps in the pool or miles on the road but know that I am never very far from peaceandfitness!
***I will be at TFC tomorrow at 10 to sub for Ellen.
