Not sure how I forgot to credit Graham Nash (Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young) in yesterday’s blog, but thanks, Carole! Mitch has done a great job of teaching our children well, and they, in return, continue to teach us well. Hope all the dads had a great one yesterday. I know the Heat fan dad’s surely did, with the nail-biting game that found Heat winning out over Thunder.
On Biggest Loser, it’s the losers that become winners and this Saturday from 10-5, Brandon Nickens, the supervising cast director will be at Planet Fitness at 850 Ives Dairy Road in Miami, looking for contestants for season 14. If you (or someone you know) has at least 85 pounds to lose and wants a chance at the $250,000, show up dressed comfortably and presentable and though this season they are really looking to get back to basics, it won’t hurt if you have a little back story, maybe even a home video and most of all desire. Nickens says “We want to give it to someone who is deserving of the opportunity. A person who will pay it forward.” If you cannot make the casting call, you are invited, wherever you are, to send your home video to Thebiggetlosercasting.com now through July 20th. Personally, I can’t even believe that I have to wait until January for another season of this.
Having watched the game last night, and forgotten to set the dvr, I will have to catch Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition on the ABC app today after work.
