For an insanely great 95 minute work-out, with sweat dripping off the tip of the nose and the tips of the toes, I STILL and AGAIN recommend P90X YOGA with Tony Horton. With a day off, yesterday, I decided to dust it up and pull it back after about a year of NOT doing it. I quickly recalled why I both loved and hated it so much, when I was doing it regularly on Thursdays! For anyone that thinks that yoga is for the weak, for girls, or cannot be the most incredible strength AND flexibility session of your weak, I challenge you to this workout. I am sure you can pick up the entire P90X series on eBay or Craig’s List for a decent price. As I recall Mitch picked it up of Craig’s List for about 60 bucks for the entire package of DVDs and honestly, each day offers incredible cardio, strength and core work. While it’s a great program done according to Tony’s plan, it’s great out of sequence as well, picking and choosing which video you want to do or have time for. Even the 16 minute ab-ripper x video will bust up your abs, done a few times a week.
But the yoga…. it’s the workout that will get you physically and mentally strong. And it’s always a great idea to have a couple of great “go to” videos, giving you NO EXCUSES to get in your workout.
